AUSSIE KTM rider Toby Price was the fastest KTM rider in the latest stage of the Dakar Rally, finishing fifth, just under 6 minutes behind Paolo Goncalves (Honda).
Goncalves is now leading the event after former leader Joan Barreda (Hon) copped a five minute penalty for speeding. That dropped him to fourth on the day and down to sixth overall.
Price now lies eighth overall, a little under 10 minutes behind Goncalves.
